Are people going crazy or is it just me. My 1st blog, so constructive criticism is most welcome please.

Having listened to the news from various sources, both left and right, over the last few days, I must say my anxiety levels at this time are extremely elevated. Quite frankly, I am at a loss as to how anyone can back what President Donald Trump (Potus) is saying, let alone think it is true.

Lets look at some of the things Potus has said over the last few days.

After the bombing Ukraine on Palm Sunday, killing civilians including children, what did Potus say, "Putin made a mistake", how can you call it a mistake. The definition of a mistake is a wrongful judgement or misunderstanding with an unintentional result, How could Putin let alone Potus, believe Ukrainian citizens wouldn't be killed if Russian missiles where deliberately targeted on a city centre. It must be obvious to anyone, bombing a city, the deaths of civilians were inevitable. Nobody is capable of producing let alone firing a weapon, without people on the ground, which hits the place where the people you intend to kill are situated. So how can anyone think, let alone believe, this was a genuine mistake.

Potus is also saying don't start a war with a country who has an army 20 times that of your own. Ukraine didn't start the war, Russia did. should we really be surprised that Potus doesn't like the Ukrainian President as after all in this situation he is unfortunately the underdog. Potus hates those underdog, which unfortunately President Zelensky is at the moment. you only have to see the contempt he treats the working people of the USA. After all it was Putin sent his troupes into Ukraine back in February 2022 expecting to meet with little or no resistance. However as we all know he meet a far bigger resistance he ever thought possible. So either Potus is completely delusional or has no idea what happened to start the war, either or both of which are dangerous and if he isn't removed from office soon he is not only putting the Ukrainian people at risk, but those other countries who Putin will target next. He said during his campaign for office he declared the war would be over in twenty-four hours. How much power does Potus think he has. Putin was never going to order his troupes to retreat back into Russia just because Potus says so. The Greek legend of King Canute, who believed he could stop the tide, except rather than water, Potus believed he could stop the tide of Russian soldiers flowing into Ukraine.

I hope this makes people think and mull over what I have said. I am not a dictator and say everyone should hang on every word, but at least I hope this makes you think and examine what is happening before you make your own decision on the ethics and intentions of Potus before he potentially starts WW3.
